iv. Additional mandalas

The following mandala measurements have been included as they are also useful for the artist to know. There are two subjects: mandalas from the Nyingma Kama and additional mandalas from old and new terma lineages. The mandalas from the Nyingma Kama and old treasure teaching both have eleven-leveled archways, as no samples of eleven-leveled archway mandalas are included in the teachings from Lochen Dharmashri. There is a common misunderstanding that there are no mandalas of this type in the Nyingma canon, but here we see examples of eleven-leveled-archway mandalas from both the Nyingma Kama and terma teachings. The examples from the new treasure lineages are all from Kyapje Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche.
